Did you notice Sap hit a new low today? I'm not sure what it means, just thought I'd mention it.

Microsoft's (MSFT) Windows 2000 is supposed to come out sometime next year, but its testing is still
being delayed as the company wrestles with the Justice Department. Free software, such as Linux, is
cumbersome to install, so that isn't likely to spur upgrades either. As a result, Hickey figures it could
be a year or more before corporations are likely to start another upgrade cycle that would spark another
sustained rally in PC stocks. And you can't underestimate the impact of year-2000 problems, both real
and imagined, will have on PC sales in the second half of this year. Our advice: Buy these stocks on
the dips because Compaq and Dell especially represent solid, long-term values.
