>>Rocky exaggerates things to get his message across the huge pile of Bulls but he has been very correct in his bearishness from 1997 onwards.<< Senthil, let's give credit where it's due. He doesn't just exaggerate to get his message across. He also lies, distorts the truth, and draws ridiculous conclusions using flimsy or no data. And don't forget that he also never fails to find a way to interpret any news in the removable storage business as negative for Iomega. Now that's dedication! It is true, however, that the overall trend for this stock has been down for the past couple of years. Of course, there have been some periods of upward movement, like, say, from the beginning of March to the end of November of '97, when IOM went from around 15 to a high of 33. But that never stopped Rocky. He was predicting doom that whole time. I think SparQ was his Iomega-killer-du-jour during that phase. (He kept telling us how he was going to get one as soon as it came out. Deja vu, anyone?) The real killer, that time, turned out to be a really weird decision to split the stock. We all remember the aftermath. Rocky has played only one note the whole time he has posted here. In my opinion, virtually every point he's ever made has been wrong. But there's no denying that IOM has sucked almost continuously for the last couple of years. If you don't count those 8 months of '97, and a couple in '98, that is. You know, I've never argued with him about whether the stock was going to go down or up. He's always said it was going down, and I've always explained why the reasons he gave for that were wrong. But the stock has often found its own reasons, or dropped without them. - Allen
