If the amzn model had a chance of working, they can just sell at same price as physical stores, and charge for delivery.

BS. If all Amazon was doing is sell the same 20K titles available in the local mall, then what you say would apply.

But Amazon offers anyone of 2.5 million titles in at most a week. Can your local supermarket do that?

>>why is it that a convenience store can make profit on $200k per quarter, and amzn can't at $200 Million per quarter?

Because Amazon has built infrastructure for a multibillion business. I can't believe the cementheads (a term I used affectionately alot last year) can't get it.

stores, and charge for delivery. Will people buy from them ?

Sarmad,

This is the issue. The convenience costs more money. Also, there is no instant gratification.
