Intel Up In Late Trading After Plan To Buy Level One Not surprised. In my opinion the only reason for the selloff was that some people knew Intel was going to make a statement after the market. At this time what would you have expected? Earnings warning of course!!! So they got out fearing this probability, pushing the stock down. Then you probably also had some bozos thinking " Yes!! they are going to preannounce earnings short fall--Short the stock". Now i expect to see some fund managers come on CNBC tomorrow saying Intel paid too much, giving themselves a chance to cover their shorts. OR maybe they are covering in afterhours trading. Just my opinions.
