- how can anyone try timing MSFT?

- I thought for sure the stock was tanking to $140 today after it started dropping like a rock

- only to finish up 2 5/8

- I continue to believe the best way of playing MSFT is to hold & forget you have it.

I still maintain that the reason for the PC slowdown was due to Intel's release of Pentium III----there was too much hype that prospective buyers waited for either the PIII or a cheaper PII. That is why I think Intel and MSFT will come out well from this quarter while the PC stocks may or may not.
I am only in 3 stocks and options now. Microsoft/Intel/Cisco and that is all; with most in Microsoft.
Hope tomorrow's is the start of something big in these stocks.
