I would guess that they lean that way...yes. The Y2K hoax has been embraced by the born-again Chrisitian right as a tie in to their lunatic millenial apocalypse superstitions.

Unfortunately, many groups are using the Y2K issue to advance their own specific agendas.

But you still have yet to reveal to us the evidence you reviewed in making such a profound statement as declaring the entire issue a hoax.

Is the money that people are spending fixing these non-compliant systems an illusion as well?

I really would like to know what analysis process you utilized to arrive at your conclusions. Have you submitted your analysis to critical review from others?

I'm fair. If you can document your sources, I would certainly be willing to review them.

Personally, I'm following the money. And the money is being spent, hoax or not.
