It's never wise to ignore competitive threats just because you don't want them to be. Not to speak for Doug, but I don't think he was ignoring anyone. The way I see this deal, INTC needs a new growth engine and they have found it. I read where in the next few years, sales of communications chips are expected to rise twice as fast as sales of microprocessors. I knew the big boys were coming. IMO, BRCM has the lead, has excellent management and will fight the good fight. Regards, Pat
