Elsewhere in the public domain (I do mean the "legitimate public domain", not S.I. etc. <gg>)I have seen comments of a "60 foot flare" while drilling through the Devonian. I have this noted in my file but I did note record the source. Sorry.

BB,It's true big companies live life with lawsuits
but that shouldn't take away anything from this one...With all of the exposure it's going to get due to the number of players involved,it's location and depth,it should merit being a "fairly high"
profile case at least IMHO.
I mean it's not like someone slipped on the floor in somebody's department store!!...later,..LP
