The LEVL/INTC news is not good for NSM, but they have been working together for a while, so in a way not much has changed. Arguably, this is a case where NSM was ahead of INTC re the need to better integrate LAN features into chipsets, etc.

Jim, just a day or two ago someone joked that the only way Intel could live up to its promises of enhanced Internet access would be to include a DSL MODEM with every Pentium III. Since Level One owns silicon DSL designs, in the future that joke may read like a prediction.
