BT, when I did my month-by-month breakdown of 1998, I learned that parts of the year are just going to suck. Nothing breaks your way and you either get stuck with losers or you book sizeable losses.

So far this year, the big losers are still on the books - CPU, MXTR, FLYR. But the short-term trading has made up for part of the burden, and I really am convinced that all three of those companies will trade higher this year. So I expanded the dog pound and decided to let them hang around.

My education - made and lost all my profits my first year, beat most mutual funds but not the SPX or NAZ the second year...and ahead of all of them so far this year.

Guy jumps off an 11-story building, ten floors down someone says "Are you OK" and he replies "Great "til now!"

Still a lot of 1999 to go.
