Glenn,

FWIW, I am pretty sure Amazon has experimented with this type of marketing in previous quarters, so I doubt it means anything about revenue in the quarter one way or another.

(I used to buy a lot from Amazon before Barnes and Noble online opened up; after I swung by Amazon's site after an absence of several months, I got an e-mail voucher for (I think) $10. Happened more than once. Perhaps that was a pilot program which was successful and is now being expanded?

Do you think that it was just the retailers and speculators that has taken the "Thing" from $199 to$120??
