>>>The only thing left is the distribution channels and rights to bundle add-on services. I think that is the battle from which we see the surface waves right now.To: Charlie Smith (226 ) From: TLindt Wednesday, Jul 30 1997 2:05PM ET Reply # of 8540 Charlie Smith... <FYI, Bob Gintel (2.2mm shs held) has posted to this tread before.> I see that... neat! Then maybe this might get somewhere. I've brought it up to checkfree as a suggestion, and recieved a response back thru the Net. But I think this is something they should go for... I see a lot of partnering going on out there right now.. Madjor Companies are setting up distribution thru the "Search Companies", Yahoo, Excite, Lycos...ect... And it's more than advertising. It's all kinds of services, that are being added to these Search Companies Sites. These partnering Companies are comming to the Net thru the high traffic areas of these Search Sites to insure their success. Why not hook up with one, if not all of these Search Companies to provide the E-Bill Service? I'm pretty sure MicroSoft is gonna have theirs available on MSN. So why not call up MR. Yahoo!, and say look what we can do NOW! Get a couple months head start. Talk about Investor interest and exposure? Otherwise, it's poke-and-hope that somebody stumbles into the checkfree site. By exposing this on a madjor search site now, many potential companies are also gonna stumble onto this service, and be able to obtain information on how they to can reduce their internal billing costs by providing this "State of the Art" service to their own customers. Everybody is LOOKING for a way to make money on the NET, and here's little ole Checkfree, with a way to SAVE everybody money on the NET. Message 1869308 I get bored with this stuff sometimes...I really do. Like my dad told me once about Army Life, hurry up and wait. If it would have been done waaay back then, none of this would be an issue today. IMHSMO. p.s. I didn't know how to spell then either.
