Hi Midbob,
I am a shareholder in both of those companies as well as several others involved in various aspects of natural resources. I can't think of one of them that I am glad that I bought, of those I invested in over the last two years in Canada (with a couple of exceptions where I went for the short term play). As you know, the Vancouver market is primarily a market that is involved in mining and oil and gas. The price of oil has more than halved and the prices of gold and other base and precious metals have fallen through the floor (with the exception of Silver, recently. These facts as well as other important details such as the infamous Bre-ex scandal have hurt investor confidence and changed the entire face of this market. I wouldn't go as far as to say that the market is finished, far from it:- Now is the time to buy, in my opinion. I wish, like you I presume, that I had not been as involved before the market dropped!

I believe that a move away from natural resources, in the face of the current and recent market in Vancouver, which is what Safe Environment has managed to achieve is the way forward. SVV and GAI are not alone in their poor performance but SFU has positioned itself beautifully in an exciting growth sector. I think that SFU stands a better chance than most to do well having worked so hard, and to it's own timetable to create the position that it now holds. The day is young for this company but it has certainly started out the right way, IMO!

Regards, and I do understand your frustration.
