I think AXC has excellent prospects for branding themselves into the public's conscious in the coming year(s). They can do "post production" work in their new studio in LA, which will probably include slicing and dicing content from TVondaWED and AENTV and repackaging it for the many channels there as well as for KCET. So programs for public TV don't pay much directly, but could pay off in branding for the repackaged content, and, maybe all that encoding work. Then there is the upcoming netopoly play where they land on the Maltese Rockgarden square using an Ambassador play piece. How many DST's will they erect there? Sounds like a major Euro play!! To me, all of these things add up to a big future for AXC and I'm not worried about the "competition". With the hardware they have and the content they are acquiring, they will be a big player. If you like the hype of BCST, buy some of that too, but don't overlook the value being built here. You can find me lurking with BO RR, CMM

<< the novel attempt by Intel to brand a component >>

the whole notion of branding anything
non-essential may be vulnerable to such an analysis.
however,
the reallocation of market share speaks more
to the disappearance of a true monopoly,
rather than the "breaking down" of validity in "brand name".

they will always enjoy consumer
loyalty based on perception: in the case of intel,
and i trust those who buy based on price points will still favor intel given an equivalent choice.

BY WAY OF DISCLOSURE:
even as a former idti shareholder,
a fortunate one, i might add...
i still acknoweldge
the consummate brilliance,
and staying power of intel branding.
