Man o man. I just came back from Fry's and I'm amazed at the prices. You can get loaded box from HP with PIII 500 MHz for $1600 and it includes Polk speakers. In my opinion it is telling. I can not remember time when a new generation of uP was selling below $2000. There is major price erosion in my opinion. Premium for a new product is minimal. One thing that caught my eye and made me salivate was the flat panel display but $3200. DELL will have to go much lower to satisfy my hunger. <g>
