Amazon (AMZN) - Wednesday, AMZN moved up a notch as it closed at
123.50, with a 2.19 gain. Thursday, AMZN gapped up 2 points to open at
125.50, quickly reached 127.00 and promptly did an 'about face' as it
moved lower for most of the day. AMZN bounced nicely off support of
its 22 DMA when it reached an intraday low of 115.88. Traders swooped
in to pick up shares at a bargain helping AMZN to recover off its lows,
as it closed at 120.12, with a 3.36 loss. Fueling AMZN's sell-off were
concerns that it may have trouble meeting high end earnings estimates.
Analysts are currently on both sides of the fence. Optionable.
