And here I was all set to go to CompUSA to shop for a new monitor, on the theory that they would be better than Fry's, and everyone's telling me they're not so good. Got any ideas, Gottfried?

<<CompUSA sells computers and software only.
Best Buy also sells TVs.>>

G,

... [BB also sells] DVDs, Digital Cameras, VCRs, various and sundry other brown goods, white goods, etc. ...

They beauty is that we do not care too much in AMATland ... I think the new Maytag front-loading washer has more processing power than the computer I bought in the early 1980's ... I would also guess (with more conviction) that a higher-end Bosch cooktop or dishwasher have more processing power than that same machine [N.B., the latter two are not sold at BB ... I was just continuing with a point ... when I say higher-end ... it really is not a hell of a lot more than a GE or Kitchen Aid ... I would highly recommend the dishwasher highly for its incredibly quite operation ...].
