True. But businesses tend to think they will need more future supply only when the present demand is increasing. Now I heard a theory a few weeks ago, that the growth will not be coming from PC demand but rather from telecom demand. I find this plausible, especially in the light of recent mergers. Who are the telecom chip and equipment suppliers (please no reference to CSCO and LU)? I knew of three (VLSI, XYLN, and LEVL) all of them are being bought out since last week. Who else is left?
