Another little blurb this AM at Businesswire.com. More of a confirmation of the past month's activity than anything new. Maybe it will generate some movement nonetheless.

Cheers

STOCKWINNERS.com Announces Investment Opinion; STOCKWINNERS.com Rumors Generate Solid Returns

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 1999--Stock picks posted in the STOCKWINNERS.com Rumor Mill led to successful trading over the past month. "All twenty-nine of the rumors generated positive returns," according to company spokesperson Faye F. Nia. "About half produced short-term, double digit gains. On average, the group was up 16% in five days. Only three of the rumors suggested short sales. The rest involved stock purchases."

"Our CMGI (NASDAQ:CMGI) story was particularly timely. The rumor anticipated a sharp rise in share price, after the early February fall of Internet-related issues. Two days later, CMGI shares were up 21%. Fourteen days later, they were up 63%," Nia said.

"Other rumors during the month involved Individual Investor Group (NASDAQ:INDI), Providian Financial (NYSE:PVN), Omega Research (NASDAQ:OMGA), Health Management Associates (NYSE:HMA), Navistar International (NYSE:NAV), E-Trade Group (NASDAQ:EGRP), U.S. Franchise Systems (NASDAQ:USFS) and Broadcast.com (NASDAQ:BCST). Those picks gained 20% to 72%, within two to fourteen days of our postings," Nia remarked.

In addition to rumors, the service offers free real-time quotes, daily stock picks, intra-day market alerts and option picks. "The market alerts are E-mailed to subscribers throughout the trading day. They tend to involve early notification of momentum plays and help our people get in at the bottom. In a recent alert about America Online (NYSE:AOL), for example, we advised subscribers that the company would probably beat earnings expectations and declare a stock split the next day. Both were indeed announced and three days later the stock price had risen 16% from the alert level," said Nia.

STOCKWINNERS.com is on the Public Register's Annual Report Service listing of the Internet's Top 50 financial sites. "Firms are chosen by on-line financial service subscribers," Nia pointed out. "The success of our rumors is one of the reasons we were selected."

STOCKWINNERS.com has recently issued timely alerts on a variety of stocks, including BankAmerica (NYSE:BAC), Dayton Hudson (NYSE:DH), International Business Machines (NYSE:IBM), Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC), MCI WorldCom (NASDAQ:WCOM), Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), Charles Schwab Corporation (NYSE:SCH), Ciena Corporation (NASDAQ:CIEN), Merrill Lynch (NYSE:MER), Lucent Technologies (NYSE:LU), Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT) and Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN). Free two week on-line trial subscriptions to the service are available. The company may be reached at www.STOCKWINNERS.com, or 205/408-9280.
