With all due respect to those who are concerned about whether this run-up in stock prices has to do with "speculative" increases in the price of crude and whether the prices outstrip the book value of the companies involved------

all I can say is.....this oilpatch stuff is a lot of fast-moving fun.

Bought SLB at 49 1/8 on Feb. 18

Bought more SLB at 48 on Feb. 24

Sold all at 54 11/16 on March 4

Pretty nice gain for two weeks of ownership.

Only reason I sold was because I had to leave the computer and didn't trust my gains to last thru the traditional Wall Street afternoon sella-thon. Will try to pick a choice spot to jump back into the oil patch tomorrow. Cheers and happy trading!
