Chris.. I don't know much about ATCI.. however there's no comparison to BEAM. Even in Mark Logan's interview on Radio Wall St, he said that BEAM's machines are similar to VISX's first generations. And it's clear by the sales that doctors prefer VISX to Summit. I've been following VISX for years.. there's still a shadow over BEAM from the early days and some very questionable acts concerning the FDA approval processes. You should go back a few years and read about it. It's as good as a movie of the week. In the early days, VISX and BEAM moved together on news. Now.. BEAM has been left in the dust and hardly budges on VISX news. The Street knows the winner. As for the future, there's certainly a lot of new eye-fixers on the horizon. But they have yet to show the earnings strength of VISX, and will only move on the "promise" rather than the execution. It will be an interesting next couple of years! Amy
