Mayo - Berkshire Hathaway doesn't routinely get shutout by Dow Jones, AP and Reuters so they don't need to turn to alternate 'news outlets'.

Case in point: Yesterdays announcement that 'Patent No. 5,884,309 Issued to DynamicWeb for "Order Entry System for Internet"', coming at the end of a 3+ year application process and based on pioneering work we did in 1995 - when most people didn't know what the Internet was - is news and not "hype". One would think, just by reading the title "Order Entry System for Internet" that this is of potential significance, given we're at the dawn of Internet E-commerce and highly celebrated firms, with large market caps, like VerticalNet, produce 98% of their revenues from "banner ads" but have stated clearly and publicly their intention to migrate toward transaction based revenue.

The major wire services ignored the story completely. That's what happens to OTC BB firms. We're not complaining, that's just the way it is. So we turn to alternate 'new media' outlets.
