mmeggs, dat Johnny (come-lately) Jubabs dude ain't no kin o'mine! Has a nice little zing to his speel, but more froth than substance fer as I kin reckon. Picking on Iridium and SKYC ain't exactly heroic in my book. Clearly they will be or are the celestial equivalent of road kill, but that don't make the whole notion of satellite telephony a high tech boondoggle. It's about bandwidth, baby--not bandwidth at any price mind you, but bandwidth and make no mistake. There are just huge chunks of this planet that need birds to deliver the goods. Period.
