Look for Acampora to come out Monday/Tuesday and change his call (to the upside) if the market closes above the old high..and we are moderately/stronger higher (Dow) on Monday...These 2 days would shake out remaining "correctionists"

FYI: Chicago Tribune business section
Popular computer writer James Coates writes today about DELL-IBM deal.
He's not a wall street guy. He sees this deal as huge for Dell.
The article is on-line at chicagotribune web site. don't know URL, I read it in the paper. Don't know his syndication reach, either.
Very good, non analyst view.Front page of biz section.
cheers, VL

Mohan,

I don't know all that much about Viewsonic. They do offer some high resolution CRT monitors and a couple of LCD panels. I'm guessing that they do not manufacture their own LCD's, they simply buy them and slap the Viewsonic name on. Their monitors are in most cases well priced and less than the Sonys of the world. However, if I were buying a machine and did not have the bucks to spend on an LCD monitor, I would prefer to buy one of the new 'true flat' Sony or Mitsubishi tube CRT's. For price conscious consumers though, Viewsonic would seem to be a good buy.

Regards,
John
