Sultan,

I'm relatively sure that neither set of shareholders will go against this. The Italian connection, assume they are on board.

My comment to Letmebe Frank was about making an easy 10%! This mornings action, which appears to be changing now, was pretty negative on the HUM side.

Will be interested in learning what the analysts have to say. Getting the street back on side is a critical requirement, don't you think?

Lovely day in the market today.

Put two underperforming companies, and what do you get? A BIGGER under-performiing company!

Looks like Rube's goal is to get out of the limelight heat and HUM low under a corporate umbrella, while HUM's hoping to find something to replace its matured pdt line.

I don't like the deal. Not fair to DOG's patient shareholders! Now the underperformer DOG'S CEO get reprieved, and I'm a shareholder of a bigger GOOF!

Wow! I just checked HUM's quote... down over $2!. Must be the DOG effect! As long as Rube stay's at HUM I don't think shareholders will be happy.
