AsiaNet to Asia Pulse today: GAMING MARKET....... SYDNEY: A press
announcement today said Solomon Telekom had entered negotiations with
New Discoveries Publishing to licence its software to companies
entering the sportsbook and casino gaming market.

Solomon Telekom - a joint venture agreement between the Solomon Islands
and Cable and Wireless Plc - would be providing operational and
technical staffing support to the government.

The release said it was anticipated royalties to New Discoveries may be
between $US10M and $20M a year for each licensed casino.

New Discoveries CEO Peter Michaels said: "We are very pleased to be
able to assist in offering telecommunications services to the Solomon
Islands."
