There seems to be a sudden speculation that PMCS might be the NEXT buyout target, and that pushes the stock up 10% today.

Yesterday, when the LEVL announcement came out, I thought that PMCS will get hammered due to the built-in speculation that PMCS was a buyout target. Guess not!

Good luck.

BD, I agree (especially from a WAN perspective).

Unfortunately my LAN chip expertise is limited. So take this for what it's worth: In the ethernet arena, does PMCS have product overlap with LEVL (I suspect that it does)? PMCS is interested in exploiting GE/FE (I thought that it was, even though product line looks limited)? How good are PMCS' relationships in the ethernet box maker world (I would suspect no where near as good as with ATM)?

I don't recall any sales breakdowns within the networking area, so any input on revenue impact of this segment would be appreciated.

I'm here long because of ATM, but want to have a better feel of whether we are talking another modem chips deal here with the Ethernet business.
