this is a copy of best buy's revenue breakdown...

Quarter Ended Fiscal Year Ended
2/27/99 2/28/98 2/27/99 2/28/98
Home Office 34% 35% 36% 38%
Consumer Electronics 28% 28% 27% 26%
Entertainment Software 23% 23% 20% 20%
Appliances 6% 6% 8% 9%
Other 9% 8% 9% 7%
TOTAL 100% 100% 100% 100%

their same store growth is only 10% with a p/e of 50
does pc sales put under home office?

seems like with compusa warning about software sales also(23% of best buy sales) and lets say 10% for pc sales...that going to be a big bite out of revs for bby....plus if the economy and the stock market tank their arent going to a lot of folks buying the latest dvd or other electronics...

looks like a good short a this level....
