No doubt you can rent a rolling leaf vac/shredder at a local tool rental joint--probably run you ~$50/day. Course if you were in Atlanta, I'd rent you Das Oops (including rake harnesses) for only $25/day--you'd have to provide the "raking bait" though . . . a cat, a small child . . . one of those remote controlled car toys with some
cheese mounted on the hood . . . a Mailman, etc. . .

When I was around 11 or 12 we lived in a place with a huge yard studded with dozens of maple and oak trees. I raked and bagged, our next door neighbor had a ride-on machine which sucked them up and bagged them. I learned the meaning of envy.
