George Cole - you are right about XOI Big Oil and Nat GAS E&P's are great buys here. Some of us should probably own more Big Oil and E&P's. You know big Oil's with those dividends just might be one hell of a smart play right here. Dog; lots of ways to do the short, options, or - could keep orig shares; just borrow new shares to short - and then buy to cover- keeping orig position... taxes ? - please don't bring up that subject this time of year <VBG>... The good thing is that FGI has a very, very small float and the shorts irregardless of when - will be a ''turbo-charger'' on the stock price sooner or later... If FGI were to announce another nice contract - wow ! Institutions will want in fast; as their earnings stream would be superhuman in the patch by comparison to others... It was real painfull to sell FGI here; but I didn't really sell <VBG> - I forgot; I ''TOOK PROFITS'' - is FGI from $10-12 now the best trader of late or what ? I'd never be out of FGI entirely; but have to trade with 50-60%... I can't see much downside below prior lows - $8 at the end of the world ? Buy at $10ish sell at $12ish, or average down at $8 ish if we see it.... gota go for the day and trust my limit orders...
