Re: Oracle, about a year ago, any Oracle conference you went to, all of a sudden SQL Sever was all they could talk about - in the most negative terms, of course. The shift in focus was dramatic. I think ORCL has great strengths, and may be able to hold them off. Actually, that's real good for my career. But, sometimes oracle just wanders off, coming out with sloppy, buggy products for a while and somebody has to slap them silly for a while to get their attention.

BTW, my core holdings include Oracle, too. One of the REAL big 6.
