sold some may 7.5 puts for almost 2. gives me a little buffer to see if cpu can rally some, if not at least the cost basis is 5.5 this time on my avg down.

I agree with you the downside is limited to only another $6 from CompUsa while it over 152 for MSFT and 123 for AMZN
good point
come on its the % of the drop that makes the diffrence not the #
another doller is a whopping 20%

IMO this is buy and hold territory.

Who knows when CPU will recover but the LT upside potential is much greater than the LT or even ST downside potential. CPU has been here before, so has BBY. For education, go read the BBY thread back in Dec 96 - Mar 97. People were giving up, selling for big loses, and talking about bankruptcy, Chapter 11, etc. You know what happened after that. I ain't no Swami, but you gotta think the bottom is here or near. Possible idea is 1/3 now, 1/3 in the next few weeks, and then 1/3 after the next earnings report.
