Bill, I put this for Bertrand in the ALA thread: Regarding the $1billion deal data networks bids for Telstra's Data Mode Network. Alcatel is rumoured to be bidding together with Cisco if the rumour is correct I think they have the best chances. Do you know if there substance behind this rumour? This is very important deal for ALA. It can raise its profile in the datacoms segment right now that Tchuruk unveiled ALA strategy for datacoms. Further, Siemens is seem as a loser in this deal with the Aussies.
