Maybe over a phone line it is. However, ATHM owns
EXCLUSIVE access to the cable lines into about 60 million
homes. No one else has that. Since that ownership of access
(to the cable wires) is required to provide cable modem access,
the speed of ATHM's service is unique in many of its markets,
esp. when compared to much higher prices for equivalent-speed (1 Mbps)
DSL.
