Ummm, every system is derived of decorum, traditions and laws". You have chosen to support the market-based system. That system is best managed and propelled via the primacy of property rights.
If you were a Kalahari bushman, it may not be important.
Either way, society may recognize something as being real...but that DOESN'T mean society is an entity, or has to DO anything at all.

There are limits and extents to everything, so you must not have defined your original standpoint well enough. Based on the system that we live in, property rights are the single most important driving force. I don't think anyone has said anything but that.
