Dog...wouldn't you agree that Dell's "low front-end investment, low R&D cost....leveraging......etc...(your words)" model is unique in the technology industry, and is in fact, the SECOND important model (next to B-T-O) which is cause for Dell's incredible financial success......and that this "second" model has become the real driving force for Dell's continuing hyper-growth in the future.......people focus on the revolutionary (yet simplistic) aspects of B-T-O, but don't you believe that this second model is just as revolutionary..

After all, who would of thunk you could become a huge, successful technology company by limiting your development & ownership of R&D (unlike HP, IBM, and many others)....by actually letting and trusting others to do R&D critical to the future development of your success...

Can you think of any other company that operates in same manner as Dell in this respect, and, if there are, are they anywhere the size of Dell? (20B revs..)
