Dear Kevin and all: OK, I listened to the conference. There were some technical difficultites at least for me in that kept getting
"Net Congestion Rebuffering" and would lose the audio. Did anyone else have that. I had listened to several other companies and they didnt experience it anywhere near the degree TAVA did. Another negative for me was JJ kept using charts (which of course you cant see) but didnt repeat what was on the Charts very often Ex. He has a chart showing expected Employee Levels thru 2,000 but I dont know what it shows. He did say that growth can be tracked by watching employee growth and implied it would be great. PRESENT employees he said are today 660 which is 30 or 40 more than he announced at the qtly conference call a short while back. Also he said the Mangan transaction would close in next 5-10 days.
In summary, Jenkins presented a very rosy picture for the future indicating that TAVA would have SERIOUS (his words) GROWTH RATES that WILL EXCEED the IS Sector averages. Hmmm typical IS company PE RATIO is what about 22? What should TAVA have when SERIOUSLY exceeding??
For all you nervous Nellies (Cheryl are you listening) he was asked about what HE felt would happen relating to y2k failure. As you might expect he hedged himself but started by saying Utilities were slow to recognize and face the picture, that "fail and fix" would be a big problem and at the end he FINALLY SAID there will be disruption and he believes it will last LONGER THAN PEOPLE THINK. Well, that has me scared!! You happy now Cheryl? JDN
