LindyBill--

I never claimed that Iomega would go bankrupt. If you can show me the post Mr. Boies, I'll stand corrected. I did claim that Iomega drive sales would not grow as fast as most people on that board thought it might, and specifically that Zips would never become as popular as floppies in their heyday. I also claimed that Clik would never take off. Pretty much everything I claimed on that board is now the case.

But whatever the case, it is true that I spread doom and gloom about Iomega last year. A year ago today it was over 10, now it's about 6.

I also spread lots of doom and gloom about Zitel-- they didn't like me there much, either.

For those who are keeping track, I spread doom and gloom about Dell and was dead wrong on it.

So maybe I'm wrong about Microsoft. But I don't think so. Windows CE is failing, Windows 2000 is nowhere to be seen, their internet strategy has not made them any money, and they may have to open up their Windows source code thanks to their behavior in court.

And I think lots of you know that Microsoft is not what it once used to be. How come none of you are preening about it's "Proprietary Lock" anymore? Afraid Boies is going to use it in court against them?
