MAKO info: An email from a previous investor.

Having witnessed the debacle of MAKO and ASTG, I feel compelled to
alert any would-be investors who might get sucked into the hype of
"new" Mako Capital. I offer the following "clarifications" to the
recent news releases:
...."Mako Capital Inc. Acquiring Financial Publication and Web Site"
…."Mako Capital Inc. Continues Growth Strategy Into TechnologicalMarketplace"
For all intensive purposes, "MAKO" is totally illegitimate company
with no true assets, no sales and no SEC filings, and is descendant
from a long list of equally worthless public shells. Consequently, it
is erroneous to state that it is "acquiring" Profit Magazine.
Similarly, Profit Magazine is nothing more than a slick propaganda
tool which since inception has been used to disseminate false and
misleading information about companies promoted by or associated with
Joseph Lanza. Managed by Jane Lanza and produced entirely with
third-party vendors, Profit Magazine has no real staff, other than Ms.
Lanza and her secretary. And despite publishing up to a dozen issues,
all of which were financed by Joseph Lanza, the magazine has no
meaningful circulation and generates no revenue, other
than an occasional subscription fee from an unsuspecting consumer. On
the other hand, the company does have a healthy list of creditors,
including Ace Printing Company, who have been largely compensated
with worthless ASTG and/or MAKO stock and still owed thousands of
dollars for past publications.
Claims made in the recent press releases regarding circulation and
readership should be regarded as total fabrication, as should any
assertion about their expertise in the publishing trade.
A reasonable person should conclude that the principals of Profit
Magazine and Mako Capital have neither the funds or expertise to
develop any legitimate business venture, let alone one having to dowith the
Internet or communications businesses.
Regarding the announcement of it's acceptance into the Barnes & Noble
"Affiliate Network ", it should be noted that anyone who has a web
site is eligible to participate in the program. There is nothing
exclusive about this program. For clarification, see the followinglink:
barnesandnoble.com
It is implied that the principals of Profit Magazine will draw on
their publishing expertise in developing their new web site
(http://www.profitmagazine.net). However, it is the profound absence
of publishing expertise and operating history that should alert any
potential MAKO investor of the deception being perpetrated in the
recent press releases. Please feel free to post this on SI.
