Dave-

I have no idea. It is good that $6-6.50 held. That was the area that I previously suggested as new support. I didn't expect it to retest it so quickly, though. But I suppose it's only fair--easy come, easy go. Assuming the stock bottomed this morning, we should be in good shape. As for the extreme volatility, I have no idea. Perhaps there was a rumor of a takeover, then the rumor was dispelled. Or maybe the MMs dropped the stock today to buy more (perhaps they were forced to build a short position as people were buying in the past week).

Dave, there is serious overhead at low 6s, I guess this is a fast way to confirm the overhead at $6 is cleared. NCES is currently at $7 5/8, closer to day high then day low and this suggest that a new support is hammered. But don't be so happy too early, I believe this situation happened before in 1998 and the result is......although it was mainly due to NOV problem at that time.

Good Luck
