Why not go further out, jan 2001 90's, get some leverage with lots of time remaining.Stock should easily make 150 by then without any upside to current estimates. They should give us more strikes, 100,110..

I like to Leap!!! I own the January, '00 40s. I may roll them to a less in-the-money '01 contract.
The time premium on those $70s seems a pretty hefty premium though. And, the '00 expiration is now going make the time premium on those contracts erode like a traditional option.

I also like qcom leaps, but why not sell the puts?

70 puts for 2001, trading about 13.
Who thinks qcom will close below 70 in '01?
Why not get money instead of give it?

(usually on rmbs thread (another cult), but like qcom alot, was at the annual meeting, and read this thread, but don't have the technical background to make many contributions)

PS You have great contributors, especially when everyone can stay on topic.
