Yes. Also DeBeers is going to be reconstructed. The talk is the diamond interests will be split off from the rest. Apparently the non-diamond interests account for the net worth of a DeBeers share --- the diamonds are thrown in buckshee. Then, clearly, the non-diamond "DeBeers" will merge with Anglo in the "streamlining" operation, as you call it. And, with DeBeers off and Minorco swallowed, Anglo is free to re-enter the US in a big way. It's not called Anglo American Corporation for nothing! Yep, Anglo's feets are too big for its South African shoes!
