Joseph Stevens upgraded its ratings on Iomega Corp. (IOM) and Cirrus Logic Inc. (CRUS) to accumulate from trading buy.

(Headlines at 12:12 p.m and 12:14 p.m. EST misstated that the firm cut its ratings on the companies' shares to accumulate from trading buy).

I don't think they will be compatible with existing Jaz 1 or 2 drive and will not read the disks either. From what I understand the new single-platter media is much more scaleable up, i.e. 2g-4g-6g-8g-10g where as the existing jaz media is supposedly maxed out in capacity.
