Hi Northstar, Well the fact that we didn't hold $14 and continued the down trend is not a good sign. There is more going on than just normal buying and selling stochastics. I'm hoping that Friday's action was the MMs managing to get the stop losses at $12.50 because the volume went nuts after it broke that threshhold and when it was all done, the stock was back above $12.50. So maybe now we've hit bottom and MTON can start running up in advance of their quarterly earning report (late April). With the downgrade from .08 to .06 though, I'm beginning to suspect there is something going on short term that we don't know about. I'm still holding the course, since the last time this stock got dumped, it went from $5 to $19 (I was buying in the $7 - $8 range)! Maybe this time around it will go from $12 to $30 ! If the selling continues, we may see $10 again, but as long as they're still predicting .60+ for this year and $1+ next year, I'm holding on. Regards, Chris

MTON mentioned in the April 1999 issue of Individual Investor ! Full page positive story on Page 64. Didn't seem to help the stock price though. Regards, Chris

Hi Northstar, Well, let's see if MTON can continue it's upward movement. It would be nice to see a trend of higher highs and higher lows. At least the shares I bought at $13 are in the black. Maybe next week the ones I bought @ $14 will be in the black too. Then of course there are the shares I bought in the $7 - $10 range .... Regards, Chris

Hi Northstar, According to this chart, I picked the bottom when MTON first dropped below 13. All indicators turned positive after that (of course the MMs were able to make a bundle by taking out the stop losses at 12 1/2). i guess a close above 14 1/2 will confirm the near term uptrend. Of course as a long, I think the next stop will be in the low to mid 20's ! iqc.com MTON hasn't turned the corner on the weekly chart, so next week might be real important. iqc.com Regards, Chris
