It turns out that the satellite is overheating and has problems. Does this mean that ORB is responsible, or are events post-launch the responsibility of NASA?

OT OT Dwight, I certainly don't want to defend lawyers, they practice law for the same reasons that we invest, and many are of negative social value. In fact, IMO, they created systems that require their assistance, much like a eye doctor would poke you in the eye to sell glasses. However, IMO, we would be raped by corporate executives if the fear of liability were missing.

Don't forget the shiny suits on the board of ORB and upper management. It's like calling the kettle black. Ultimately we get screwed both ways. All I know is management took advantage of the situation and cashed in big time. Had they not cashed in, the accounting "error" would be seen in another light.
