Howdy BB.Sorry your team lost:-( I kow it's friday nite and all,but just caught up on the thread and decided to respond. We don't have to agree with others on SI talks,(or anywhere else),or with each other, which is as it should be. So here is why I believe this lawsuit is more than a pimple on an elephant butt to Weatherford. First though,in the face of all the ongoing lawsuits in the world against all big companies, this one probably suits your analagy. But not to Weatherford I'll bet..The reason being that they did not reach the status of being one of the premier service companies in the oilfield and in the whole world by screwing up client's oil/gas wells.(Especially in such a manner as what occurred here). To compare it to the pimple is to imply that major screw-ups like this are common, which I know for a fact is not the case. Another thing-if this had happened halfway around the world somewhere,it would have been bad enough, but basically right in their own back yard in N. America is something else. A lot of people who work in the patch view Weatherford as NUMBER ONE for d/h work-their reputation got them there. What happened here is definately the exception rather than the rule.It is a MAJOR screw-up.But as the saying goes,"chit happens".To anyone. My idea of it:It would more closely relate to a full blown blister on an elephant's face!!-NOT PRETTY!! I'm not placing blame-that is what the courts are for. What I am saying is that I believe this lawsuit is not something that Weatherford wants to see...And that bodes well for us,IMHO. It's obvious that I am in favor of generating a cashflow from this well asap, but I believe we need ins.settlement $$ to do much more.If financing was done through more share offerings, the dilution factor would get too high IMHO. Personally,I like our current position. Have a good weekend. LP ps-just my idea of things,ok if different from yours!
