I certainly don't mean to sound harsh, myself. I just disagree with idea that WAVX will be valued as a commodity. If that is so it will be an insane misperception, given that WAVX has never talked about making money off of the sale of the chips. I don't think that even analysts are that far out of it. I don't believe that Joe Six-Pack will see WAVX as "just another chip factory." I used to hear that misconception once in awhile (people asking how much money WAVX would make off of selling their chip to OEMs) but I haven't heard it for quite awhile. In fact, given the way the technology is being licensed out to others, it almost doesn't make sense anymore to talk about Embassy as a chip. A much more likely misconception that I'm hearing right now is that WAVX is just a hardware security company. I cringe whenever I hear that sentiment -- for instance in questions regarding whether Intel's incorporating security will destroy WAVX.

Anyway, if anything I said gave offense to Trader X, I sincerely apologize. Disagreeing with him on this point doesn't lessen my appreciation for his presence on the thread.
