I have read that CNET is a very desirable company to many different media companies because of it's potential. There are still many companies that don't have a large position on the web, particularly
Time Warner and that these companies are taking a serious look at CNET. It really makes alot of sense, I don't think it is one of those casual rumors that you hear all the time. Good Luck if you decide to buy CNET.
