I don't recall denying society exists. I denied it played a ROLE as an ENTITY. Which you have proceeded to do.
Society certainly exists as a complex organic system, much as the solar system does. But it doesn't DO anything. It is guided by the behavior and actions of the individuals within the system itself. That is why the individual is primary within the system. Individuals choose which traditions, decorum, and laws they wish to accept. They don't always accept the same ones (see abortion).
Actually, I am closer to the more acceptable viewpoint of modern-day theorists in the sciences of complex interactions.
