Donnie, Technically speaking...Comments from John Murphy weekly recap for March 6,1999: DELL AND IBM TURN UP. Our Thursday commentaries described the jump in both stocks and how they sparked an impressive market rally. We also observed that both stocks had held above their recent lows (forming potential double bottoms) but still needed to close above resistance levels to complete their bottoms. The two resistance levels we gave were 88 in DELL and 180 in IBM. There's a good chance those levels will be exceeded this coming week, which would give a bigger boost to both the NASDAQ and S+P 500 (which include DELL) and the DOW (which includes IBM).
